It’s crucial to ensure that first visit be positive and enjoyable in order to build trust and put your child at ease while they are at our office for the first time and for future visits.
Our doctors and staff will explain everything to your child and answer any questions he or she has. Downingtown Family Dentistry suggests to parents not to make a big deal out of the visit and avoid using words that may cause unnecessary fear (i.e. needle, drill, etc.). Children are encouraged to discuss fears or anxiety they may have and we will do our very best to explain treatment and procedures in a positive, pleasant manner.
